About Lawrence
Hello and welcome. My name is Lawrence Allen Smith Jr. I have been in the Instructional Design field for over 20 years. I started when I was six taking model trains apart and reassembling them to understand how they work. I would then provide instructions and presentations on what I found to different audiences. This started my love for teaching, facilitating and designing courses. It doesn't matter what type of system or process, with my background I can transfer knowledge experience and theory backed up with 4 degrees to develop any type of training whether full blown Computer Based Training courses, infographics, training documents etc. Thank you for reading about me. I.D.T. company offers consulting services for all types of training. I utilize the latest technology in training such as Augmented Reality and Articulate Computer Based Training. Training is not just putting slides together in Power Point and providing a survey that in no way can be used for training improvement. Let my company design training the right way using the following tools/techniques: Adult Learning theories, Instructional Design models/practices, effectiveness, Augmented Reality and evaluation feedback for assessments.
